VISA FOR MADAGASCAR

REQUIREMENTS

Short Term visas

1. Valid passport

2. Passport photograph

3. Completed application form

4. Copy of round-trip ticket or itinerary

5. The fee, in money order, certified check, travel agency check payable to "Consulate of Madagascar":

• One month single entry: $33.45 (USD)

• One month multpile entry: $39.01 (USD)

• Three month single entry: $33.45 (USD)

• Three month multiple entry: $39.01 (USD)

Long-term visas (more than one month). 

A long-term visa requires authorization from Antananarivo, which takes generally at least two months. Call or write to obtain five yellow application forms, then mail together with the following documents:

• Your passport (valid for at least one year).

• The five yellow forms completed and signed.

• Five passport photographs.

• A letter of recommendation (usually) from the organization sponsoring the trip.

• A complete resume, with particular emphasis on previous employment experience and extra-curricular activities.

• The fee, in cash, certified check or money order payable to the Embassy of Madagascar:

  • $50.14 plus postage for a stay of more than a month and less than three years.

  • $72.40 plus postage for a stay exceeding three years.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU TO HAVE YOUR VISA PROCESSED:

1. Valid passport.

2. One Visa Application Form for Madagascar; Visa application Form for Madagascar (short term visa), completed in full. Incomplete documents will result in significant delays in the processing time.

3. Fulfillment of all visa application requirements as mentioned above depending on the type of visa required.

4. A  passport-size photographs of applicant (Very Important)

5. Complete our Visa Processing Order Form.

6. Visa application fee based on type of visa sought. (Visa fee is payable by money order made to the "Embassy of Madagascar")

7. Service fees payable by money order to African Resources Center as follows:

i) Tourist: $40.00
ii) Business: $40.00

8. We recommend that you send documents via track-able courier service such as, Priority Mail, Express Mail, FedEx, UPS, Airborne Express, or DHL. (Metered stamps are not acceptable.)
