VISA FOR EGYPT

REQUIREMENTS

Non-Egyptian visitors arriving in Egypt are required to be in possession of a valid passport.

1. Valid/signed passport (valid 6 months). 

2. One visa application form completed and signed. Applications on thermal fax paper are not accepted. 

3. One Passport photograph. 

4. Proof of departure--computer generated round trip flight itinerary from the travel agent (for tourist visa applicants only). 

5. Business cover letter (for business visa applicants only).

6. Visas are usually processed in 4 working days.

There are three types of Egyptian visa:

• Tourist Visa: is usually valid for a period not exceeding three months and granted on either single or multiple entry basis. 

• Entry Visa: is required for any foreigner arriving in Egypt for purposes other than tourism, e.g. work, study, etc. The possession of a valid Entry Visa is needed to complete the residence procedure in Egypt. 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU TO HAVE YOUR VISA PROCESSED:

1. Your valid passport.

2. One Visa Application Form for Egypt; FORM 1 and FORM 2, completed in full. Incomplete documents will result in significant delays in the processing time.

3. Fulfillment of all visa application requirements as mentioned above depending on the type of visa required.

4. Complete our Visa Processing Order Form.

5. Visa application fee based on type of visa sought. (Visa fee is payable by money order made to the "Embassy of Egypt")

6. Service fees payable by money order to African Resources Center as follows:

i) Tourist: $40.00
ii) Business: $40.00

7. We recommend that you send documents via track-able courier service such as, Priority Mail, Express Mail, FedEx, UPS, Airborne Express, or DHL. (Metered stamps are not acceptable.)
