VISA FOR BURKINA FASO

REQUIREMENTS

1. Valid passport 

2. 2 complete application forms, provided by the Embassy, or via Internet. 

3. 2 passport-size photos 

4. Visa fee of $75.00 (3 months multiple entries visa), $100.00 (6 months multiple entries visa ) payable in money order or cashier's check. No cash or personal checks. 

• Other useful information: 

  1. Your visa is valid for a maximum stay of three months or six months. It may be extended, but this must be arranged in the country by contacting the General Office of the National Police in Ouagadougou.

  2. Carefully complete the application forms. If any information is missing, it will be necessary for the Embassy to return the forms, delaying your visa. 

  3. The Embassy issues three types of visas: ordinary, courtesy, and diplomatic visas. 

  4. All ordinary visas are subject to a $75.00 fee(3 months multiple entries visa), $100.00 fee (6 months multiple entries visa ). 

  5. Vaccinations: inoculation against yellow fever is required. A cholera vaccination is recommended, and may be required in the event of an outbreak.  

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU TO HAVE YOUR VISA PROCESSED:

1. Your valid passport.

2. Two Visa Application Forms for Burkina Faso, completed in full. Incomplete documents will result in significant delays in the processing time.

3. Fulfillment of all visa application requirements as mentioned above depending on the type of visa required.

4. Complete our Visa Processing Order Form.

5. Visa application fee based on type of visa sought. (Visa fee is payable by money order made to the "Embassy of Burkina Faso")

6. Service fees payable by money order to African Resources Center as follows:

i) Tourist: $40.00
ii) Business: $40.00

7. We recommend that you send documents via track-able courier service such as, Priority Mail, Express Mail, FedEx, UPS, Airborne Express, or DHL. (Metered stamps are not acceptable.)
